London elsewhere

we have seen it all. We have been to the tomb of sayf al-din, a muslim mystic, which was errected in 1261 in bukhara, taken down some 600 years later and re-errected in london (victoria & albert museum, museum nr. 1437-1902). We missed out on the great treasure of the oxus though, which originates probably from the same area of the world and is one of the 10 must-sees in the british museum. A little later – on the way to visit a really great friend – we passed by a street commemorating french fries and featuring a shop that reads like the next weeks home – the site where the tomb used to be, which was turned from a final resting place into a mobile home will be visited a few days earlier…
